Sharkey's Massage Therapy, LLC is located right next to Amite City Hall. We offer different Massage Modalities and are always expanding our services. Our massages are great for Migraine Headaches, Sciatica, Carpal Tunnel, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Plantar Fasciatis, Muscles spasms, Whiplash, back pain, leg cramps and so much more. We offer Pregnancy massage for woman after 13 weeks gestation.

We offer couples massage in our couples suite. You can enjoy a pre or post wedding massage with your spouse. Couples massage is not just for couples. Share a massage with friends or family.

We also offer On-site Corporate Chair massage with a minimum of 2 hour booking.
Sharkey's Massage Therapy was founded by Julie Sharkey in April 2017.
Julie Sharkey LMT MMP 3562 grew up on a dairy farm in Loranger. She went to Oak Forest Academy and Amite High School where she graduated with honors. She went to Southeastern Louisiana University and graduated in 2002 with a general studies degree. She Graduated from Blue Cliff College as a Valedictorian in Massage Therapy in 2005. Julie worked for Jeanne Maureens in Hammond from 2006 till 2017. She fell in love with her work an stayed there till she moved to Kentwood and opened up her own business in Amite. Julie is a mother to 3 children and a stepmom to 3 more. She is excited to start this new journey in her life and serving this community.

Jessica Brettel LMT MMP 4429 is a native of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. She lived in Ponchatoula most of her life. She graduated from Assumption High in Napoleonville, Louisiana. After Graduation she spent the summer in Viet Nam to learn her heritage and visit family. She started Southeastern Louisiana University in the Fall of 2002. She studied Nursing and Psychology at SLU until she transferred to Our Lady of The Lake College to start her nursing clinicals. She loved the hospital but her heart was always yearning for a more personal relationship with people. She loved to help people and loved massage and getting into massage therapy school was always in her heart. She applied for Medical Training College and was accepted in 2007. She graduated and got her licensed in 2008. Jessica started Massage at Jeanne Maureens in Hammond and also worked in Madisonville, Louisiana as a massage therapist. She is now a mother of 3 and a new mother of 3 more. She is currently setting off on a new Adventure with her long time friend Julie Sharkey.
